OnePlus Ace 7 Pro Launches with Built-In Cooling Fan, 9000mAh Battery and 185Hz Display
OnePlus has officially released the Ace 7 Pro, a performance-focused smartphone that brings an active cooling fan, a massive 9000mAh battery and a 185Hz high-refresh-rate display to its mid-range lineup. The device was launched on October 29, 2026 and is already available for sale.
The Ace 7 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile platform, paired with OnePlus’ new “Fengchi Game Kernel” for deeper game-level optimization. Its most distinctive feature is the industry-first “Dual-Path Ice River Cooling System,” which uses an internal fan to direct airflow along two routes: one cools the chipset directly, while the other blows cool air across the back cover to reduce hand temperature during long gaming sessions. OnePlus says this system can lower the temperature near the chip area by up to 10°C during extended gameplay, though actual results may vary depending on the game and environment.
On the front, the phone features a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO flat display co-developed with BOE. It supports a global 165Hz refresh rate and can reach up to 185Hz in supported games, making it one of the highest-refresh smartphone screens currently available. The panel also supports 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and hardware-level low blue light protection.
OnePlus has strengthened the Ace 7 Pro’s camera system compared with previous Ace models. It uses a 200MP main camera with OIS and adds a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto lens, allowing the phone to capture distant scenes more clearly. Video recording supports up to 4K 120fps and 8K 30fps, along with 4K live photos and Log mode.
Battery capacity reaches 9000mAh, supported by 100W wired fast charging and bypass power delivery for gaming while plugged in. The device runs ColorOS 17 out of the box and includes 3D ultrasonic fingerprint recognition, IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K dust and water resistance, stereo speakers and an X-axis linear motor.
Pricing for the OnePlus Ace 7 Pro starts at 4,799 yuan for the 12GB+256GB version, with higher configurations reaching 7,299 yuan for the 16GB+1TB model. Promotional and subsidy prices are available during the initial sales period in mainland China.
With its combination of active cooling, ultra-high refresh rate display and long battery life, the Ace 7 Pro aims to appeal to mobile gamers and power users who want flagship-level performance without paying top-tier flagship prices.
